Parents and Students,

Greetings!!

It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you all to this elite educational institute.

Let me start by saying that some of the absolutely basic skills for survival in today’s world are missing from our students. These skills include problem-solving and analysis, and social skills such as teamwork and relationship management. Reasoning and self-efficacy are also increasingly important, particularly as they improve adaptability. Multiple surveys reported that – socio-behavioral skills were ranked at or above technical qualifications and credentials in terms of their significance for the employability.

Building these skills requires strong human capital foundations—and building these foundations is especially important in early childhood development. In fact, most of these traits are learned by children up to the age of 3-12 years. If children miss out during this period in life, it is hard to catch up. These foundations can be established through effective early childhood development programmers and basic education. The times now have changed, nobody wants their children to be bookworms. Parents want to groom their children in all fields at the right time so that when they grow up, they can analyze their own interests.

We Indians are masters cracking an exam. It is not about the concepts we learned in class as much as it is about the strategies, we apply to maximize results with minimal effort. This attitude is born in school, and understandably so. Our future depends on our GPAs, exam scores, and the college that we eventually end up graduating from. But we are now starting to see the ill-effects of such an attitude. The system we have all been working so hard to beat is falling apart. Our brightest have been relegated to mindlessly repetitive tasks, and we have essentially become the support function of an innovative world. It is undeniable that we, as people, dream of more. The same minds that are stuck making pivot tables in spreadsheets day in and day out head to western shores to build the most interesting and successful products in the world. It is not a lack of ambition that is trapping us in this status quo. Industry-level schemes and programs for our young entrepreneurs exemplify this.

We here at Kingsview International School want to break this silo. Kingsview International School believes in building a holistic kid. Our philosophy is that education needs to be portrayed as a sport. It should be associated with the students, with excitement rather than with burden and boredom. Faculty will act as coaches and mentors for students, helping them learn how to think independently. The school will focus on teaching students how to learn about a subject or skill that interests them–and exposing them to a broad range of subjects–rather than imparting a particular set of information. Teacher’s performance should be measured by the number of students who love to attend his/her class without attendance pressure but not by their degrees. The Kingsview campus will also include “chat labs” for collaboration, labs for physical prototyping or digital creation, rooms that can be used as galleries or for presentations, recording, music, art, and dance studios, and a retail storefront where students can run businesses.

We are here to provide the best international standard in schooling; Come and become part of this state of the art and well-equipped education institution which encourages “real world” learning in a “stimulating classroom” environment.

With Regards,
Bhagwant
